Name:
Alison Mohrbacher
Job at Camp Gallagher this summer:
Assistant Director
I wanted to work at Gallagher this summer because…
I love Gallagher. Gallagher has made me who I am today and informs every part of my life. The way I live, work, and play at camp is the way I believe I should always live, work, and play. Spending this summer at Gallagher will allow me to help build this opportunity for fulfilling, joyful living for campers and staff so that they might also carry the life-changing of experience of Gallagher throughout their lives.
In the “off season” you can find me…
teaching middle school English at Forest Ridge.
My favorite Camp Gallagher tradition is…
starting my mornings with a lemming run. There’s nothing more life-giving than a cold, salty plunge in the Sound to start your day.
My favorite overnight spot is…
Anderson Island.
My favorite camp meal is…
Etouffee (seriously, at what other camp do you get etouffee?)
My favorite camp song is…
Good Ship Walrus, or On The Loose, or Summer Days, or Old Hayes
I just can’t live without my…
SOUNDERS!
If I could sum Camp Gallagher up in three (okay, four) words, it would be:
How life should be!
Camp Gallagher is a rustic overnight summer camp for teens on the sparkling shores of Case Inlet in the south Puget Sound.
