Experience the true joy of communal living at Family Camp. By sharing rustic cabins, parents and children help each other appreciate the simpler things in life—songs and stories before bed, a sunrise alarm clock, and the cool sting of salt water during the morning lemming run. Activities are optional and meals are included so you can truly relax and enjoy your time together.
Family Camp Highlights
Boating — We offer fun on the water for all ages. From paddleboards and canoes, to group treks by sailboat and big canoe, there’s nothing quite like exploring the area by sea.
Ropes Course — For older kids and their parents, our vertical playpen high ropes element challenges you to break out of your comfort zone and reach new heights.
Crafts — From candle-making to tie dye, our craft shelter is teaming with brilliant craft supplies for you and your kiddos to enjoy.
Mealtime — Camp food is delicious and meals are a great time for getting to know other families and connecting with friends new and old. Plus, our cooks do it all! It’s a welcome break from meal planning and cooking.
Sundown — The quintessential Camp Gallagher tradition, Sundown is a special time for reflection and sharing. As we watch the sun melt behind the horizon, we sing songs, share our thoughts on the day and search the shoreline for perfect skipping stones.
Campfire — At the end of each day, we gather around a roaring campfire to sing songs, tell stories and (eventually) wind the kiddos down before it’s off to bed.
